The Challenge

The DOL Office of Apprenticeship (OA) needed a training format that supplemented asynchronous modules on the RA Academy to provide RA program sponsors and stakeholders with knowledge, tools, and support to navigate real-world challenges. Safal Partners helped the DOL OA by:

1. Creating a framework for live virtual training for a wide group of RA sponsors that address real-world challenges and provide clear, practical mitigation strategies.

2. Designing a series of training sessions to build on the asynchronous training available on the RA Academy that boosted website traffic and engagement.

3. Solicited real-time feedback on training from participants to inform continuous improvement of sessions.

2

The Solution

Safal Partners designed and delivered live virtual training to equip RA stakeholders with crucial tools to evaluate their programs, establish meaningful pathways for sustainable growth, and strengthen America’s RA ecosystem through a:

1. Learner-focused format by working with OA National Office and Regional and State RA Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to co-design training content, engaging RA SMEs to lead active participation sessions, utilizing interactive tools, and facilitating peer-to-peer exchanges.

2. Pre-and post-training by employing a multi-channel outreach strategy to recruit learners, producing a suite of tools to help stakeholders assess their program, providing participants with a clear baseline to assess the current effectiveness of their programs, and directing participants to the RA Academy leading to a 10% increase in website traffic.
